FIRST REBELLION ❅ ACCIDENTAL VIDEO / ACTION [ROUTE 29]

[Isaac arrived earlier today and he's been spending his time studying the network and the Pokémon. He shouldn't be here; he's dead. He's not dwelling on that right now though.]

[Instead, he's being attacked by a Sentret. It's using Scratch on the Shellder Isaac received to start with. Both the Shellder and the trainer seem completely unimpressed.]

Tackle, Antony.

[The Shellder responds immediately, slamming into the offending Pokémon. Isaac doesn't seem to have realized that the Gear is on and viewing the battle at a skewed angle. At least he's not in the frame?]

What the hell is this world? Sure as hell isn't Amestris.

[The Shellder uses Tackle a few more times to take the Sentret out and hops over to his trainer happily. Isaac kneels to pick it up, allowing the viewer a quick shot of his face.]

I guess I'll figure it out eventually.

Nobody's really certain. I've been here for three months now, I believe. Armstrong has been here shorter, and Mustang and Kimblee significantly longer.

...You've been here for three months, right? You have a decent idea of how this world works, I'm guessing. What do you know about it?

Hmm, well. This place is apparently named Johto. That chimera-like thing next to youis called a Pokemon. Apparently, we're all given one to start off. It helps us fight off all the other wild Pokemon here.

The small red-and-white balls you were given will help you catch more! It's good to get a team of diverse ones, as one Pokemon alone won't be able to handle every situation that you'll face.

It's a little like commanding your own army, I suppose! If we're going off of military terms. Ah, but thankfully, you can control the bloodshed here. And as far as I'm aware, Pokemon don't battle til death. Just until one is knocked unconscious or severely weakened!

[ How's that for an intro to Johto? ]

[Good thing you amended that statement there, Hughes! Because honestly Isaac was beginning to wonder if he should just kick the Shellder in the face and be done with it. There's no way he's commanding an army.]

At least there's that. What's the point in gathering a bunch of these things and training them anyway?

[Not that not knowing has stopped him; he's been beating up all the things with this derp of a Shellder anyway!]

[ He figured he'd add that last bit in. ]

Well, they say if you defeat all of the Gym Leaders, you could find a way home. But nobody has succeeded yet.

Also it's good to train a solid team regardless of whether or not you want to participate in that challenge! Either way you look at it, no matter how you feel for those creatures, they deserve to be prepared for anything, don't you think?

[ That's how he feels about his Eevee, anyways. He'd never put her out there to battle if he didn't have to, but she needs to know how to defend herself.

Also, he might be subtly referring to your distaste for battle. ]

[That's... a good point, actually. He'll just derp at the Shellder for a moment before returning to the Gear.]

That's... Yeah. I guess I can understand that. What are you supposed to do if there's nothing left for you at home?

[He's. kind of dead. Going back isn't exactly an option unless he wants to cease existing.]

If there's nothing left for you back home, there's no reason you have to take the challenge, right?

You can stay here and train Pokemon. Help teach them the ideals you held back home.

...Somehow or other, I doubt they're bright enough to understand.

Ah... I would like to get home as soon as possible, but preferably not by those means. Fighting isn't exactly my strong suit, unlike you alchemists!

I've been researching other ways of going home. So far, nothing.
