EIGHTH REBELLION ❅ VIDEO - BACKDATED TO THE 14TH

[Should you happen to be in Mahogany Town, chances are you already know about the icicle swarm. If you're not then you at least get to miss out on Isaac herding all the Bergmite, so at least there's that.

Isaac normally doesn't post to the network, and on those rare occasions he does he never uses video. Today is clearly an exception.]

Uh, hi.

[This is going great so far, isn't it.]

I wanted to check and see if anyone else found any of these little guys outside today. I don't think they're going to do well in weather this warm, so I'm trying to round them all up and bring them to the Ice Path. I think they'll be okay in there.

[He turns the video to focus on the Bergmite after a moment of thought. Showing off what the things he's talking about look like might be a good idea. There sure are a lot of Bergmite there. They're all happily chirping and crowding around Isaac, so clearly he's doing something right.]

They definitely drip when they're kept in warm locations, so I'm not sure if they're in any danger of dying or anything, but I figure it'd be best to put them all in a safe location.

[This was of course after he let them drip all over the house, but that's not the point!!]

Yeah, so um... If you found any of these things, could you send them my way? If you didn't...

[Back to the Bergmites. Oh god, are there more of them now!?]

I guess I can send you one if you'll take care of it. Thanks for your time.

[That, sir, is a fucklot of icicles.]

I haven't seen any, and I've been on a few of the routes for a while now! I guess it's one of those very centralized swarms...

[It certainly looks like one, anyway.]

Were they following the usual pattern - there weren't any there, and suddenly there were way too many?

[...Ishimaru... Well, that's one way to put it, anyway.]

[...oh god.]

They do tend to show up on the surrounding routes, don't they...

[And that would put them right...near...let's not think about that, shall we]

The Pokémon here tend to be very resilient, though, I'm sure they're fine!

Well, if they can survive being set on fire in battles, being inside once in a while shouldn't hurt them!

[Hmmmmmmm.]

If you're willing to give them to people, I'll take one of them off your hands, if you don't mind.
ardent: (And as you step back into line)

Well, they're obviously ice-types, and they seem friendly enough - are they okay if you separate them?

[Not that he thinks they won't be, but after the traumacats you never know]

Ah - that would be greatly appreciated, yes!

[HE SEES NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS SOLUTION.]

Do you tend to use ice-types often? I have three of them, but one is more of a pet and the other is primarily transportation.

[personal profile] ardent 2014-09-15 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
The one that's transportation is a Lapras, so obviously she's dual-typed; the one that's more of a pet is a Glaceon, and he's...

[...dumber than a bag of hammers, um.]

...He's a bit on the odd side, but he does his best!

[...orz]

I also have a Glalie; that's the only one I'm really training for battle.

The Lapras came with a lot of egg moves and I imagine she'd be good, actually! I've raised her, but we don't do too much serious battling unless there's a lot of those jellyfish in the water! And the Glalie is decent, not the best I've raised but far from the worst!

...And the Glaceon is not trying at all when it comes to battle, but that's because he's kind of been assimilated into a horde we have.

Aw, those are cute little guys!

[She leans in a little closer to get a better look at the Bergmite.]

I don't think I'm around that way, but I wouldn't mind taking care of one! I guess if they're in a Pokeball they don't have to worry about if it's too warm or anything, right?
