[A text hits the network around noon. It's very short and to the point, though it's not specifically addressed to anyone.]

How do you tell the difference between someone you're just friends with and someone you're romantically interested in?

[Ouch. That question actually gets Isaac to pause for a moment; the hesitation is very obvious when he speaks.]

I don't... know. I spent a lot of time away from them back home. I wouldn't like to see them leave, but... that's mostly because of what they said. They're dead back home. So if they're not here...

[Sisuca, you're being the most helpful person here, just so you know.]

[She's patient through his pause. She has the vaguest sense that they're both talking about pretty serious things here, even if she has no reason to believe so. It's just how he talks.]

Go for it, then! Maybe they're giving you a special chance, and...even if things don't work out, you can at least say you tried before it was too late.

[That's certainly one way of looking at it. Isaac isn't entirely sure when he started relaxing, but talking to Sisuca is very easy and calming.]

...That's true. I'll consider it. I don't want to risk ruining the... relationship. But yeah, I wouldn't want that to happen.
