I was a State Alchemist. We worked with the military and our orders were to end a war that had lasted for years. We were ordered to kill and there wasn't anything we could do but obey those orders.
[There's silence for a moment before he continues.]
I left after that. I didn't want to be a part of a military that resorted to killing more people than necessary. We could have won the war without murdering everyone. But... There was no point to the war to begin with.
[More silence. Isaac decides against telling Ouka exactly what happened afterwards.]
I was working to stop the military when I found myself here.

The holocaust was an annihilation of a group of people back in my world... it happened years before I was born, but everyone knows about it. Horrible things happened. Everyone that was considered of a certain group of people were rounded up and either made to slave in horrible conditions with very little food, or just killed on the spot...
[ Falling silent, and then shaking her head a little. Her voice is a little cheerier when she speaks up again. ]
